IOTC Pet Therapy Program at Community Hospital East

The Indianapolis Obedience Training Club (IOTC) is proud to partner with Community Hospital East to bring the comfort and joy of pet therapy to patients, families, and hospital staff. Our volunteer teams — made up of caring IOTC members and their specially trained dogs — visit the hospital to share smiles, companionship, and the unique healing power of the human–animal bond.

Each of our therapy dogs has been carefully evaluated for good manners, gentle temperament, and a love for people. During visits, they help brighten patients’ days, ease stress, and create heartwarming moments that remind everyone of the simple joys a furry friend can bring.

Whether it’s a friendly wag, a soft cuddle, or a quiet moment of connection, our therapy dogs make a difference — one visit and one tail wag at a time.

IOTC is honored to bring this program to life in partnership with Community Hospital East, helping promote comfort, healing, and happiness throughout the hospital community.
